Corporate Officers

President and Founder

Donald E. Eastlake 3rd—Mr. Eastlake is co-chair of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) TRILL Working Group, which is specifying the base protocol to be implemented in Stellar Switches, and is the Editor of that protocol's specification. Mr. Eastlake has seven issued patents, and additional patents pending. From January 2000 until formation of the Company, he was a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff at Motorola Laboratories. From 1987 to 1990 he was CEO of Transfinite Systems Co., Inc., which designed, manufactured, and sold a hardware and software product interfacing Nintendo game controllers to the Apple Desktop Bus.

Chief Financial Officer (Part Time)

Richard E. Clark—Mr. Clark brings thirty years of financial and operating experience to Stellar having served as CFO for many entrepreneurial businesses, including high tech, life sciences, and consumer products. His background includes extensive implementation of management reporting, analytical modeling, motivational compensation plans, and financial and operational systems and processes designed for high growth scale-up. He has negotiated several purchases and dispositions of divisions, subsidiaries and parent corporations as well as helped raise over $100 million in private debt, equity, and IPO proceeds. Mr. Clark began his career practicing as a CPA for Arthur Andersen & Co., received his MBA from the University of Wisconsin, and his BSBA from Northeastern University.

Vice President of Engineering

Jill Eastlake—Ms. Eastlake has over 30 years in the high tech computer industry with a focus on high-quality software deployment. She has managed teams of up to 25 engineers, technical writers, and quality assurance staff, shipping software products at the system, network, programming language, and applications levels. Ms. Eastlake is providing invaluable managerial and planning assistance in the formation of Stellar Switches.

Director of Marketing Communications

Margaret L. Russell—Ms. Russell has over 25 years experience in high tech, including Manager of Corporate Relations for MIT, Manager of University Relations for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, as well as performing project management and product definition for various software firms. Most recently she was a marketing and sales project manager for Parametric Technology Corporation and chaired their high tech vertical rollout group.
